Mother's Day
Went home for the Mother's Day weekend. Worked on some projects, spent some time with the fam, good times

I always love to bake. I remember when I was a little kid my mom would bake basic yellow cake every week, I would bring my little step stool and sit in front of the oven and watch the cake rise for precisely 36 minutes. I still do. There is something about the anticipation of waiting for the cake to come out of the oven. For me, it is a nostalgia. It is magic.
